On June 1st Akwa Marina is hosting a volleyball tournament to benefit children with autism who needs assistance. The money raised will have a real impact. 100% of the funds raised will go directly towards the children so they can get much-needed therapy at Ready Set Connect by Crotched Mountain in Concord NH. Ready Set Connect will select children's programming and/or a child they feel is most in need.

Last year (2018) we were able to raise enough money to assist 3 children for one full year of therapy! We can do better and we will.

The day of tournament schedule will be set once the number of teams is established, likely starting at 10 AM and is expected to end around 3:00. It is a double elimination bracket style tournament. The rules will be modified to speed up play. Each round will be the first team to 21 points or 20 minutes whatever happens first. Each match will have a 5-minute break between rounds. The finals will be played to 30 points and on the sand court. Some games will be played on grass on the North and South Lawns and Beach.

Please be sure to come with an understanding of how to play volleyball a little bit, here is an instructional video  and remember this is for fun and to raise money.

The number of teams is limited to 32 teams. We expect the 32 teams will fill very fast this year due to how awesome last year tournament was :)
